In 2015, Sławomir Zapała invented a characteristic character nicknamed Sławomir, which appealed to the American Polish community. He started his activity by creating videos shared on YouTube. He invited famous people to his music videos – Małgorzata Socha, Ewa Kasprzyk, Krzysztof Kiersznowski and Lech Dyblik. During the performances, they are accompanied by the band "We stick to Zapała".
In 2016, Sławomir appeared in the popular show "Dancing with the Stars. Dancing with the Stars" and later also in "Your Face Sounds Familiar".
In 2017, he recorded the album "The Greatest Hits", which quickly won the hearts of the audience and went platinum. It sold over 30,000 copies and reached number one on the charts. From this album comes the hit "Love in Zakopane", which was the hit of Sylwester z Dwójką in 2017.
